Part of the joy in being a new Honda dealership is looking forward to upcoming vehicles. Whether they’re all-new, refreshed or completely overhauled into a next-generational model, their arrival is exciting. Almost equally thrilling is the Big H’s creative advertising campaigns for these autos.

Take the 2014 Odyssey as an example. Sure, it’s already available in our showroom at White Plains Honda but this month our preferred Japanese automaker is launching a riveting campaign. It’ll consist of Rainn Wilson, Neil Patrick Harris, dust bunnies and gummy bears.

Allow us to explain. As you likely know already, the 2014 Honda Odyssey is equipped with a class-exclusive, all-new feature; the HondaVAC. Built into the minivan and accessible from the rear liftgate, the device allows busy families to get rid of those dust bunnies and gummy bears easily. As for Wilson and Harris, they’ll provide the voices for those aforementioned, now-animated characters.

It’s quite clever; but that’s only the beginning. You see, knowing that these on-the-go families are quite busy Honda is spreading the 2014 Odyssey campaign across a variety of platforms. To name a select few, once aired you’ll be able to see the witty ads on basic and cable television channels as well as mobile, online and gaming networks.

That’s pretty cool.
