If you’re like us at White Plains Honda, then you simply can’t get enough of the Big H. From their powerful and stylish lineup of cars and trucks, to their various motorcycle and boat offerings, the Japanese brand is prevalent. And delightfully so, we might add.

In fact, we’re pleased to announce that, even with all their offerings, the brand continues to build upon their diverse portfolio. Notably, Honda has recently developed a yard-friendly model. Aptly coined the Mean Mower, this grass-trimmer is fitted with the Japanese automaker’s beefy 1.0-liter VTR Firestorm engine, which can churn out a plentiful 109 horsepower.

As far as velocity is concerned, the brand is announcing that the Honda Mean Mower can accelerate from zero-to-sixty miles per hour in a swift four seconds. That’s pretty impressive, and something that the folks at Auto Express couldn’t wait to test out for themselves.

You see, bringing the Mean Mower to the speedway, the aforementioned gurus put the grass-cutter against a Honda Yuasa Racing Civic BTCC. Then, they waved the checkered flag and the two models, by the same automaker, were off.

Well, actually they didn’t leave the starting line simultaneously. The racecar, a brethren of the Honda Civic, is equipped with a 300-horsepower 2.0-liter engine. Undeniably faster than its competitor, the Mean Mower was given a friendly head start.

Regardless, the riveting race was quite close. To check it out, simply visit Afterward, with your need for speed heightened, we welcome you to stop by our showroom and auto service center in White Plains, NY to arrange a test drive of the Honda that grabs your attention.
